This week was a recovery week in my training plan. It turned out to be a good thing as my energy has been low all week, I think it was my bodies way of telling me that I needed a break. Of course, I am not looking forward to jumping on the scale in the morning, but that is another story for another day.
I am now less than 100 days until the Ironman. I have found an Olympic distance triathlon in Bethel, NY that I am considering signing up for as a training event prior to the IM. I emailed them to get some more information on the event but I have not heard back yet.
This week I trained for 124 kms, a recovery week, ha ha.
