So earlier this week I received my annual training summary from one of my many exercise websites I use to track my training. This report came from the dailymile.com a site that I highly recommend! It is always amazing when you can reflect on your progress or accomplishments over any period. This alone is a good reason to track your progress towards your life goals, I mean being able to look back and see the effort you put in in very motivational to keep going. If I feel down, or feel like skipping a workout, looking back really helps me stay motivated. If I can “do that”, I can keep going and “accomplish this” mindset.
The numbers were a surprise to me. I had trained for 4139 miles this past year, participated in 634 individual workouts, and burned the equivalent of 67 lbs of fat. Can you imagine if I had done nothing physical this year? I would have gained 67 lbs, yuck! Here is a link to the actual report, it is a good read!
The other big news this week is that we listed our house for sale. It has been a lot of work to get ready for showing it, but I am glad we have done it. Hopefully we will find a good buyer sometime in the near future. This is the first house we ever owned so the selling process is new to us. We will miss the family home that both of the kids were born and raised in but it is time to move on. The house listing is here.
This past week I had a good training week. I did miss a swim workout on Friday due to some travel requirements, but overall I was pleased with the progress. I travelled 212kms this past week.
