Back to some regular training routines.
This week it was beginning to feel like I was getting back into a regular training routine. I managed to get myself back in the pool for the first time in what felt like forever. I swim at the Queens University pool and was it ever busy! I guess with all the students in town I should have expected it but I didn’t. It pretty much felt like a swim start at an Ironman event, lol. My lane honestly had 10 people in it. It was good training though, kept me on my toes. My swim and bike training has been taken indoors for the season. I have my bike setup on the trainer, right beside the treadmill. Jackie and I have a routine now where we work out at the same time. She will be on the treadmill and me on the bike and we catch up on shows on the PVR.
This upcoming week I am in South Carolina for business. That will make biking difficult but I should have some nice weather to do some outdoor running. I plan on finding a pool while I am there as well.
Both of the kids had busy weeks at school. Brittany had a number of essays due and Brandon had more midterms. It was encouraging to hear that Brandon got 95% on one of his midterms!
I travelled 124 kms during my training this past week.
