Back into a routine
This week was a start to a new routine for me. After last week, it was time to focus on my workouts and prioritize some other items. I shifted my swim sets to after work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It stretches the day out but sacrifices had to be made to fit everything into the busy schedule.
I also made some time this week to continue working on my book. I have been fighting with some software issues but I am close to sending it out to beta readers. I need to engage a cover artist very soon as well, that will be exciting! It is taking longer than I would have hoped, but good things take time right?
Jackie and I finally booked a vacation this past week. Coming up in February we will be heading south to the caribbean for a week on the beach. Our typical vacations have been cruises or city destinations, so a slow week at one spot, with a beach, should be great. Jackie thinks I will not be able to sit still long enough to enjoy the beach. As long as there is a place to sit and write, a road to run on, and water to swim in, I should be just fine!
This past week I travelled 89kms during my training.
