New Hospital is Open
The past week for me has been nothing but work! It was the final week before the new Providence Care Hospital opened and it required a lot of long hours and stressful days. These things have a way of working out in the end, but when you are in the middle of it all it can be hard to see the finish line (kind of like training for an Ironman!). Last week the Outpatient Services moved into the new hospital and earlier today all of the inpatients were moved. It must be exciting, yet scary for the patients, as their environment has totally changed. I am sure in time they will love their new surroundings.
I had a difficult time keeping up with my scheduled workouts. I did my best to swim, bike, and run when I could find the time. Starting next week I hope to get back into a “normal” schedule. This past week I travelled 161kms during my training. Next week I run a 1/2 marathon as a spring tune-up!
See you at the finish line…..
